Since the latest update to the YouTube app, sharing with other apps is no longer working. This means you can no longer share directly to Summarify from the YouTube app.

This appears to be an issue with the YouTube app and not Summarify. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do to fix this at the moment.

For now, please copy the YouTube video link, then open Summarify and paste the link into the Summarify page.

I'm working on an update to make this process quicker. In the future, the app will automatically detect YouTube links when opened and instantly summarize them.

Summarify has started working again after restarting the YouTube app. I'm still working on updating the app to make opening Summarify easier—stay tuned!

Update 2 (4th March)

I have released a new update (3.7.0)! This update introduces automatic detection of YouTube links in your clipboard when opening the app. If a link is found, the app will instantly summarize the video for you.

This feature can be disabled in settings at any time.

You may see this alert each time. For faster summarizing, you can disable it in your phone's settings. See this FAQ article for instructions.

Summarify uses Apple's privacy APIs to check your clipboard only for URLs. If your clipboard does not contain a URL, it won’t check for any data.
